Is a motel better are hotel.....i think H...What is difference between hotel and motel?
Technically a motel has individual room doors that open to the outside (parking lot-short for ';Motor'; hotel). Hotels have a main entrance and their room doors usually open to an interior hallway. I have stayed in both. Hotels, in general are more expensive and more secure. Hotels are good if you are staying in the room more as opposed to ';a place to sleep'; while traveling. I have driven the 2800 mile round trip from the Tampa Bay area in Florida up to the Providence, RI area at least 75 times since 1983. Now that I travel with my teenage son we usually stop somewhere between Florence, SC- Fayetteville, NC the first night and then in northeastern Maryland if not visiting with family in the Philly area the second night. We are flying to RI in 2 weeks and staying in a Best Western Hotel in Seekonk, MA that we stayed in last year. It is new, beautiful rooms, full breakfast, indoor pool, fitness center, and free wireless internet. If you are looking to take a trip check out hotels.com and Motel6.com (cheap but usually nice rooms). What is difference between hotel and motel?
Basically they are the same .
Motel came about from what was called motor hotel.Motels are normally located along roads ,as hotels are located in towns or cities.
Hotels often have long term residents.
Motels people stay a short period of time.
Hotel is ';otel'; with an ';h'; in front of it. Motel is ';otel'; with an ';m'; in front of it. What? Did you not pass spelling and phonetics in elementary school?!
Motel is spelt with an 'M' and Hotel is spelt with a 'H'
Easy peasy
About $40/ night. Have a nice day.
