What's the difference between a Hotel and a Motel?

Just curious-thanks.What's the difference between a Hotel and a Motel?
A motel is cheap $29-39 dollars a night.

A hotel is room service, you may have a bar or club inside. Good food. Jacuzzi's and more. Hope this helpsWhat's the difference between a Hotel and a Motel?
Motel is a mix of ';motor'; and ';hotel';.

Motels have doors that open to the outside, where you pull you car up to.

Hotels have doors on the inside.
Motels are more convenient for committing adultery as you can part your car right in front of your room and be gone soon. Hotels-a lot more formal, but that's where I'd take the boss's wife.
The answer is simple. A ';hotel's'; doors open into a hallway, while a ';motel's'; doors open to the outside. It's true!
In a motel you can go to **** any body because it's cheap and in a hotel is more expensive.
Hotels have more than one story (floor) ,Motels are all on the same level
