i really wanna no the dif lolWhats the differents between a hotel and a motel??
A Motel is short for Motor Hotel....and you can drive your car right up to the front door.
Or maybe near the front door.
Services are limited at a motel. Nobody has ever carried my bags to the room at a motel. All the doors usually face the exterior of the building..usually..I guess there are some modern exceptions. But 50 years ago, after WW2, and all of America seemed to be buying a new car, and travelling..
Dwight Eisenhower, 34th President of the USA (1953-61), started a master plan of building wide interstate highways across the land.(1956).
And people traveled on 25 cent gasoline, and stayed in MO-Tels.Whats the differents between a hotel and a motel??
Motel is an abbreviation of motor and hotel or motorists' hotel. They are referred to a type of hotel in the form of a single building of connected rooms whose doors faced a parking lot and, in some circumstances, a common area; or a series of small cabins with common parking.
Hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging, usually on a short-term basis. The provision of basic accommodation, in times past, consisting only of a room with a bed, a cupboard, a small table and a washstand has largely been replaced by rooms with modern facilities, including en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning or climate control
LOL I think you probably already know the answer but in case you do not. Hotels have the room doors in the interior of the building and motels on the exterior.
you only really get motel's in america
rather than hotels all over the world
and i think motels are more like 1 room apartments for a cheap price where as a hotel is more expensive and usual in a block building
well some hotels can be just that ( booze and noise etc .) where motels are supposed to be a little more refined .(lol)
it is a matter of choice and what you can afford --- or afford to put up with .
good luck ..
Really the only difference is a motel is cheaper and crappyier and a hotel is higher class and coast alot more and has alot better stuff at it
Hotels have restaurants, public rooms, shops, etc that are available to the general public.
