What is a close and cheap motel/hotel to stay in for Austin City Limits?

The big issue you face is availability. Anything close and cheap has likely been booked for months. ACL is in Zilker Park, which is on the south side of the river (aka lake) downtown. You'll probably find availability out by the airport, and up north ... but those areas are a pretty good distance (by austin standards) from ACL.

Will you have a car? If so, there are places to park and shuttle to ACL so that will make it easier to find a place on your budget.

I've included a link to area hotels. Most are chains so you can call those that are downtown and are in known to cost something your budget can withstand.

Another option is to use craigslist. Some Austin residents rent out a spare bedroom for festivals like ACL and SXSW.

Good luck, but no matter where you stay you'll have a great time and see a show you'll remember the rest of your life! What is a close and cheap motel/hotel to stay in for Austin City Limits?
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://cheapest-travel-site.info/oacx and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck. What is a close and cheap motel/hotel to stay in for Austin City Limits?

You should be able to identify the region near the Austin City Limits show. Hope this helps.
