Do i have to pay new jersey hotel and motel occupancy fee and tax return?

I have a condo rental bussiness in seaside heights, nj. do i have to pay state occupancy fee and municipal taxes since im not a hotel or motel. my real estate agent said no.Do i have to pay new jersey hotel and motel occupancy fee and tax return?

If you gain income from it, yes. Report all income to IRS no matter the circumstances. Check with state, for all states are different.
