What do-ya think about the hike in hotel, motel, and resort prices the week of the 4th?

3x the normal rate most of the time. Just not fair when the week of the 4th is the only time you have off.What do-ya think about the hike in hotel, motel, and resort prices the week of the 4th?
its called supply and demand. it happens at most major holidays (Christmas, new years, etc.) and its just not hotels. expect flights to be more expensive, gas will probably go up a couple of cents during that weekend. that is just the way things are. who we should feel sorry for is all the poor retail workers that have to work on the 4th while you are at the beach, parks, having bbq's and spending time with your family.What do-ya think about the hike in hotel, motel, and resort prices the week of the 4th?
That's normal.....there are peak times in the Hospitality business......they can make as much money as possible because they know people are coming to town for the Holiday. It's like at Christmas time.......Hotels are expensive because of all the family coming from out of town/state.
Life dude, u just wont do anything about it, u dont have to accept the price and just dont choose their service....and sleep in ur car.
